Basaya Beach Hotel & Resort, Pattaya

The hotel is in a rather unfortunate condition, with many areas in dire need of maintenance and cleanliness. While the spaciousness of the rooms is a plus, the overall lack of upkeep significantly detracted from my experience. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, but the service could have been much better considering the numerous issues we faced. The central location is fantastic, yet it's sad that other hotels in the area offer a much better quality of stay.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The location was fantastic, right across from the beach. I found the rooms to be clean, but they felt quite dated and basic, and the internet situation really frustrated me. On the bright side, the cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of some staff really stood out. Unfortunately, the service could have been much better, especially from management.

Overall, it's a solid option if you're not overly concerned with modern aesthetics and want to enjoy the beachfront location.

I found the hotel to be a good value for money, with a wonderful location near Soi 7 and Soi 8. The breakfast was comprehensive and tasty, and the swimming pool was top-notch. However, I faced some issues with noise from other guests, and the renovation quality was a bit lacking. Also, the dining options outside of breakfast were quite poor, and I didn't appreciate the policy of not allowing outside food or drinks.
